510 Students across three schools utilising the literacy cycle enabled by the technology (Wireless Devices, Cloud Solution and WAN) at school and at home

Research findings to evaluate effectiveness of literacy cycle deployment

Establish and document device requirements.

Establish a procurement partner to purchase devices

Develop and implement the Cloud Solution oversight, management and change control for schools and students

Establish and document requirements for training needs, business process mapping, roles and responsibilities including governance for on-going support and development of the Cloud Solution for Manaiakalani Cluster; identify and establish resources

Establish and document requirements for WAN oversight, management and change control; identify and establish resource requirements

Establish and document requirements and processes for device management and issue resolution for schools within the Manaiakalani Cluster

Source funding for technology deployment for: devices, Cloud solution and wireless WAN to enable the pilot to proceed

Note:  all public documentation for this project to be contained within the Manaiakalani Google Site:  www.manaiakalani.org; all commercially sensitive documentation will be held in a secure environment utilising Google Docs attached to the domain.  Copies of the project documentation will also be held in the Tamaki Transformation Programme network drives.  Working documentation will be held on each team member’s computers and final documents will be the only documentation held on the website and in the HNZC Tamaki Transformation Programme network drives.   The project team will also use a combination of email and Google Documents to collaborate and share documents that are work in progress.
